Registration for HKC 2015 is Now Open!

Registration is now open for Hockey Kicks Cancer! Registration will remain open through the last week of June to allow time to place our t-shirt order. The event is on August 1, 2015 at the Pittsburgh Indoor Sports Arena in Cheswick.

If you would like to register a team, please email us at with your team name. A minimum of 10 players is required per team.

As usual, we do require that each team donate a prize basket for silent ticket auction. 

Kickball Player: $24.57
Spectator: $19.44
Child 5+: $16.37
T-Shirt Order: $16.37

Your registration fee includes a team shirt, lunch, and a donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

We will allow teams to choose shirt colors based on seniority in the tournament, with the reigning champion picking first and then going back to number of years having participated. We will reach out to team captains to choose colors in the coming weeks.

This is a double elimination tournament. Games typically last 20-25 minutes. We can play 2 games at a time. We typically take a short break mid-afternoon while teams eat lunch. Your team will be notified at least a week prior to the event of your first game’s time. Please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to your first game to check in and obtain your shirt.

We do allow tailgating. Once again, we ask that you be respectful of the PISA property. Please bring garbage bags. Underage drinking is strictly prohibited. Drink responsibly and have a designated driver.

This is a family friendly event. Children are eligible to play with a parent or guardian. Please use your best judgement! You know your child’s size and athletic ability. We will have activities planned for younger children to enjoy the day.

Hockey Kicks Cancer 2015 Now Accepting Teams!

Want to kick cancer in the proverbial balls?

Contact us NOW to reserve a team for this year’s Hockey Kicks Cancer!

We will accept 12 teams this year. HKC will take place on August 1st at the Pittsburgh Indoor Sports Arena in Cheswick.

Team Requirements:
Minimum of 10 players
Donate a raffle basket or silent auction item

Your registration fee per player as usual will be approximately $23. The fee includes your team shirt, lunch, and a donation to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

We have donated roughly $40,000 to LLS in the last 3 years! We’re looking to top $50,000 with this year’s event!

Spread the word. Remember, you do NOT have to play to attend! We will also sell t-shirts as we have in previous years to support the cause.

Woman of the Year Charity Golf Outing!

Join us on Saturday, April 25th at the Lindenwood Golf Club in Canonsburg for a day of golf in support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society!

The entry fee is $75 per person. Your entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, your cart, lunch, and a drink ticket. There will be a cash bar available at the Grille back at the club house after for additional drinks. You must have a foursome to participate!

We will run contests for prizes at select holes. Please bring cash to enter for each contest. All proceeds benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society!

April 18th: Pirates vs Brewers Game and Tailgate!
Join us for the Pirate game and pre-game tailgate! Tickets are $22 each. Email to find out about ticket availability. Limited tickets are available! Payment due via PayPal by March 13th! We will post lot details day of the event for the tailgate! Bring snacks and some cash to get in on the Flip Cup Tournament of Champions! All proceeds to be donated to LLS from tailgate games. The Pirates are donating a portion of ticket sales. (Tailgate pending weather)
